Cheers & Jeers: Conan Would go to the Dogs

The The best spinner's wag capped Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl having a canine version of his late-evening talk show, "Puppy Conan," including a miniature version of his set and hairpiece-putting on pooch lookalikes of Conan, partner Andy Richter and guest Attacking Young Boys. The following evening, Conan's puppet friend Triumph the Insult Comic Dog made an appearance to protest his omission in the first annual Golden Collar Honours - and proverbially poop on Jeremy Piven, Kathy Griffin along with other worthy targets. Later, Conan practically converted into a puppy dog themself when another carrot-capped comedy icon, Carol Burnett, made her first appearance on his show. The host cordially appreciated watching her Saturday-evening variety show together with his family becoming an adult, adoring it as being "controlled chaos."
