As a child, I sang high tenor through vocal coaching. I stopped
singing from the time my voice dropped over the 3 years of junior
high. After coming back to singing over the 3 years, I still have a
decent range, but I cannot hit notes like I used to, and my head voice
seems to be a bit diminished. (My talking voice isn't very deep at
all, if that has anything to do with it.). I have been being coached
again via some programs on the internet, and my throat is a bit sore,
in the same way an arm would get sore after working out. Is this
common when practicing the Head Voice? And would it be possible to
obtain my old range I once had? I am 17 now, and I have been doing
vocals in my band, but I wish I still had that range!
